We deliver the best because we select the best
We understand that as a physician (or any type of medical professional), you could choose to work for any number of service providers. Our network of providers (24,000 options and growing) choose to work with MCN because we put medical expertise and medical integrity at the heart of everything we do.
MCN’s national network of physicians and consultants includes more than 24,000 scheduling options nationwide. Prior to working for MCN, each member undergoes a thorough credentialing process which includes the following steps:
- Verification of state medical licensure
- Verification of board certification
- Submission and review of a CV/resume
- Verification of current, adequate malpractice coverage
Additionally, each provider submits the following items to MCN:
- a completed and signed MCN provider agreement
- a signed W-9
Providers maintain current licensure and malpractice coverages. MCN requires immediate notification from the providers if there are any changes in licensure status or malpractice coverage, or if there are other changes which would alter the previously provided information. Additionally, MCN staff re-credential each provider on a regular basis to catch any lapses in coverage.
MCN uses the American Medical Association (AMA) master database, state licensing division websites, and applicable certifying board websites for primary-source verification of Board Certification status, state licensure status, residency information, medical school graduation, and other information. If the provider has had any reportable matters to a licensing board or the National Practitioner Databank (NPDB), related information is carefully reviewed and MCN determines candidate appropriateness on a case-by-case basis.
MCN currently works with a number of California cities to offer Qualified Medical Exam (QME) providers more opportunities/site for evaluations. If you are currently looking for additional exam locations in a city near you, or are willing to travel to other cities for exams, please contact MCN for contact and site information to add to your state profile.
